A vision began when I was an unemployed single mother having difficulty finding a job. My employment insurance was running out I was seeking administrative work. 'Can you plant flowers?' Immediately in my head I'm thinking flowers? What? I've been living in apartments my entire life. He turned to me and asked a simple question. The silence was almost unbearable. The owner got up from his chair walked over the large pane window of his office and looked into the landscape yard. I blurted out, 'I really need a job'. I was so desperate for a job at that point. The position had already been filled unfortunately when I arrived. After pounding the pavement eight hours a day for months I finally was lucky enough to land and interview with a Landscaping company. The fear just started to rise to the surface but knowing I had a child to provide for immediately I began think of an answer that would benefit me and maybe land me a job. I said I could definitely try.
